The detecting and drawing diagram is good. Though the diagram is in a mess one can re-arrange it to their requirement. The annoying part is that you now cannot do anything without destroying your time consumming efforts to get your diagram just right. This is because most of the important things you can do on the application redraws your diagram to the messy one. This includes viewing the diagram using a different level. Another example is that if you are in level 2 and you re-scan, newly discovered equipment that is suppose to be in level 3 appear in your level 2 and one would have to delete all of them just so that your diagram is not redrawn. That is frastrating.

tnoski, thanks for the post and detailed feedback. We're always looking at ways of improving our network mapping usability, so we'll certainly consider your use-cases as we plan for future mapping capabilities.

Hi gwillia6, thanks for the comments. For large, complex network topologies, there are several options to help you with getting at the data you want: 1) Display Levels - select triangle icons in the toolbar to change number of levels to display (Level 1 = routers, segments; Level 2 = routers/switches; Level 3 = routers, switches, endpoint) 2) Map View Filtering - right-click in map and select "Map View Filters" 3) View device in new map - right-click on device and select "Focus in New Window
